went to a new piece of property yesterday morning to hunt (deer) but really just went to scout it out for juvi. I hunt this piece hard for turkey in the spring but not much in the fall for deer or turkey. I went to a spot i hunted a few years back and seen some deer before, got up in the tree and 10 mins after that the woods EXPLODED hahahah. I bet 50 birds flew out of the tree i was in and i had no idea they were there! it scared the living S out of me lol.
not the first time this has happened but man you never expect it in the dark.
had a shot on a hen at 30 yds in the tree and would have taken it if i thought i would be able to get my arrow back
