I have one in 223 and an older model in 7mm-08.

The 223 is a one-hole machine at 100 yards: 25 gr H335 behind a 60 gr partition. Fed primers.

I also have a 6.5 that is not as accurate but I have spent very little time with it.

For the price they are very hard to beat.

I bought one years ago, a stainless 223. It is a great shooter, very accurate. Mine is so old it has the first trigger system in it. It needed improvement. So I bought a spring kit and brought the pull to under 2lbs, then I picked up a Boyds stock for it. It is a nice-looking rifle and a perfect varmint gun.

My brother has one in 7mm-08. It is a very good gun for the price and has taken quite a few deer.

I got my son one in .243. Changed the trigger out to a Timney and it is a great little rifle for him. I think the full size model with a trigger swap would be very nice. If it has the accutrigger you wouldn't even need to change anything.

I've got a Savage Axis 22-250 and it's a great factory ammo shooter, just haven't had the time to work up a handload for it yet, but I'm thinking it'll be a tack driver for sure when I do
