I would like one of the older ones with the short thin bbl with non adjustable sights,,I know you can adjust left right but if it doesnt hit right high and low is there any way to fix this??are there different height rear sights or some way to change POI on the elevation??

I had a 1976 Bicentennial Model I wish I had back,,

file down the slot in the rear site, or take some JB Weld and add to the front site height. You can take a piece of masking tape and build a "form" on top of the site to hold the JB Weld until it hardens. Then, just file it down until it's the correct height. If you want something more sturdy, then take a wire-feed welder and put a bead on top of the site and file it back down.

The American Luger....I used to have a couple of the MKIs and like a fool traded them off. I recently found a MKII like I wanted and had sense enough to buy one back. They're a nice little 22. As far as nonadjustable sight regulation.....what they said.....or learn to use Kentucky windage and elevation. Have fun!

You could experiment with ammo. There's a bazillion different .22lr loads out there. You could probably probably find one that hit dead on. And that would be an excuse to shoot a whole buch of ammo.... it's for science.

I have the Mark 111 in the stainless steel and fluted barrel. Shoots like a champ. I take with me to the woods during the summer time when I am checking my cameras etc..... Never know when a Copperhead may appear.
