Ruger 10/22 mag --- 17 hmr conversion?

How would you go about doing a 10/22 mag coversion to the 17 hmr?

I have seen a few videos on youtube and it APPEARS all they do is swap the barrel ?

Anyone know?

All I swapped on mine when did it was the barrel.

Where did you get your barrel?

If I'm not mistaken I got it from Midway, but that was years ago.I went a different route after hearing about all the troubles people were having with the bolt.

You will need a different bolt. I cannot remember the site but I think it is EB Brown and you can purchase everything you need there.

Dang, bolt, barrel, plus the magnum. Wow, that would be an expensive project.

Got a 22 mag but haven't found a 17hmr conversion for a decent price.
