Put my boat in on Lake Lajoie Saturday, the trolling motor was acting up but we could move the plug around and get it going, well half way round the lake and it quit and we couldn't get it going so I told my buddy I would just crank the outboard and take us to the ramp, motor tried to turn over then nothing, not even a sound. Well a test proved the starter went bad, Well I took it to get the plugs replaced on the trolling motor yesterday and ordered a new starter so I stopped by lake Placid to fish off the bank, hooked a descent bass off one of the docks and stepped near the edge to land it and the board broke and into the lake I went. Lost my keys and my phone. On the bright side I landed the nice 3 pound bass.

This is when you gotta ask yourself: Is a bad day fishing REALLY better than a good day at work?

Sorry for your luck!

Can you run a gas powered motor in Lajoie??????

No, the only reason I was going to is because I did not have a paddle and the trolling motor wasn't working and sense I'm the one who enforces that rule I promise I'll give any of yall the benefit of the doubt for that too.

I'm sure that this has occurred to you, but If I were you I'd stay away from Chickasaw!

Definitely starting to consider that, all I can say is thank goodness I didn't try to hunt out here, no telling what would have happened, lol
