If my old fishing partner, William Jackson Tatylor is free, I may be on Centeral Hill at daylight tomorrow. I love it when the water is in the willow bushes. Wish I had two dozen spring lizzards. Guess a fluke will have to do.

I could round you up some spring lizards....but they aren't cheap.

Never mind. Lake is the color of chocolate milk and full of trash. I'm going to mow the weeds in the front yard and hunt turkeys.

would you be fishing for lage or small mouths up in the willows, large I guess.I have had very little luck at Center Hill, but Ive been killing them on Dale Hollow, one more hour?Thats where Im going.

Both large and small in the willows. Probably catch more largemouth this time of year. KY's around the wood. Dale, when the water is in the willows, can be some more deadly on the big brown fish with lizzards. Fished it many years ago with Billy Westmoreland flipping lizzards up in the bushes and it had to be one of the best big smallmouth trips of my life.

Lord, I'd love to do that again.

Its getting late for spring Lizaeds as far as finding them goes, but I can still find some. In April I can find them by the dozens. And by the way, I call 'em salamanders... Ther orange ones with black dots works the best.

Fake works well too, but you cant compete with the live ones thats for sure! BW is right, some serious fun when they get up shallow with the feed bag tied on!!!!!!!
