Well finally Received all my parts for my conversion. Started with Remington 700 ADL thanks to a trade with Leader. Rifle had receiver and barrel coated with OD green Duracoat finish which I really like.First I needed to find BDL stock, settled on a Hogue pillar bedded in Ghille OD to match barrel and receiver,100.00 from Optics Planet. Next was hardest to find used to save some money, found Floor plate, spring, internal box on Gun Broker,104.00. Bottom metal was Remington take off. Finally put everything back together, all parts fit great no modifying. Very happy with results.

Okay, 204, a reasonable price. Mine is still blued and I have a spare ADL stock. Looks like I cut out the bottom of the well, etch a spot on the stock for the release, etch a spot so the trigger with plate catch will fit, I be done. Seal the cut wood without marking the finish.

I will assume it loads and feeds/chambers without any problems at all?

Off to gunbroker I go.

DaveB...If you are in no hurry. Watch Snipershide classifieds and you should be able to pick up the same stock and bottom metal for around 100.00 bucks. Lot of guys buy the Model 700 AAC-SD and sell of the stock and bottom metal. And if you don't want the stock, the bottom metal sales for around 50-60 bucks.

Another option that was suggested to me was the Kwik Klip conversion kit, Cabela's has them for 106.00 and it included a 4 round clip, this was the best price I found for a new one. I actually order one and quality was good but it would not fit the Houge stock without trimming so I went with stock Remington parts, but if your modifying the ADL stock it shouldn't matter.
