remington 11-87 20ga

well i broke down and got myself a new shotgun for my birthday.... remington 11-87 in a 20ga.... does anyone have any suggestions as to what load and choke i might have the best luck with .... i have a buddy sending my a rhyno 20ga choke so im gonna start with it any help would be greatly appreciated.... Updated with a shot from today....152 ...10 in circle...40yards..federal #5 1 5/16oz flight control wad... Remington 11-87 26 inch barrel ... Tightwad .570

i got excited to pull the trigger so i bought a tight wad choke and a box of the federal 1 5/16 oz #5 for the gun and i am beyond impressed....165 in 10inch circle..... had i been and inch to the right from my count i would of had closer to 200.....i think i am in love!!!

Is that with lead shot? How many yards? If that's with lead shot at anywhere around 35 or 40 yards you had better put it up under lock and key. Ive not seen a 20 shoot that good with lead

yes that was with lead ...I am going to try a few different loads around lunch today ill try and post some pics

Wow. I never would've expected that possible with a 20 ga, at least with anything larger than 6's. Why tote a 12 gauge when a 20 can do that?
