Rem 700 Timney Trigger question...

I was putting a 510 TT into my 700 tonight. When I took the original, recalled trigger out, the spring to the right came out with it. (I hope I can attach a pic.) Please tell me this spring was part of the old/original trigger and not part of the action.

He sure is, I had no clue and I have two or three model 700 trigger assemblies in my bench drawers.
