I like the Scott Deluxe Little Goose I use. It has a buckle and the strap isn't near as big as the one in the pic appears.

I use a carter plain 1 thumb release. I'll never use a wrist release again. Hook it to my d loop when I get in the stand and I'm ready. I feel like the thumb release helps me keep from punching at the trigger like I've felt myself in the past with a little goose.

If you have the $$$ the Carter Like Mike is THE ultimate wrist caliper release. Otherwise the Scott Little Goose is pretty good.

Carter Just Cuz is main release. Have an Itty Bitty Goose by Scott for a back up. It stays in the pack at all times. I hang the Carter on D loop like @Fulldraw. The Scott is attached to the wrist strap with a double loop of D loop string. I hate having a release on all the time. It is aggravating to put my hands in warmer pouch or pockets. But if for some reason my Carter hits the ground it is not far from reach to get the Scott. I have never dropped it but I am sure it will happen. I have a habit of sticking it in my pocket while shooting tournaments. On a couple occasions after shooting deer after watching the deer crash I have knocked another arrow and had to search for my release. Only to find that it was in my pocket. Did it out of habit, subconsciently.

Scott little goose will be what just about everyone will recommend. I have that same release in the pic I started with years ago (Winns free flight) . The pivot behind the clip doesn't turn as much as modern release and it twists your string if you turn your hand any.

Wait til Sept 20th and order you a pack of broadheads and one day Ship them. Be sitting on the front porch in full cammo and tree stand on your back waiting on the UPS man to show.

I use a Scott wildcat and it has a velcro strap. I own both types of Scott's with buckle strap and Velcro and hands down prefer the Velcro. That buckle strap seemed to stretch and I never could get it set right.

Scott Rhino XT. I love the trigger on these. I have a thumb release that stays in my pack as my back up

i have just started using the spot hogg wise guy with the buckle strap. its a sweet release and you can adjust the trigger pressure also
