This is a salad dressing recipe of my mom's. Back in the 60's my parents lived in Brentwood and attended church at Woodson Chapel COC. Another member worked in the cafeteria of a local school and had come up with this recipe...although they made it by the gallon.
The lady kept reducing down the ingredients to where it was feasible to make at home...here ya go!
Red Dressing
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cup tomato paste (2-cans)
1-1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup prepared mustard
1 cup white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. minced garlic
Directions:
In a bowl mix all ingredients well - let stand overnight in fridge.
