Recovered my son's bullet from his buck yesterday, Barnes expander. I was pleased it was in offside shoulder just under the hide.

Hard quarter away... destroyed opposite shoulder... Recovered bullet just under skin.... Weighed bullet and it was around 99% weight retention...250gr Barnes T-EZ.

Wow thats awesome. I've been shooting the TC 250 grain blue tip with the super slide sabot. It has ton great for me. If they ever quit making them I'm going Barnes

I shoot the TC in 200 grains. I've said I would change to the Barnes if they cease production of the TC.

Those are great MZ bullets one if the best IMO. I now shoot Parker Match Hunters 300 gr out of my custom smokeless. My rifle session opened this past Saturday 🤭

Really like the Barnes, but they (250 grain) wouldn't group out of my Acura MR no matter what grain BH I tried.

I retrieved a 195gr Barnes Expander from a deer a few years ago and like the pics, I couldn't ask for better expansion and performance.

Here are 3 Barnes expanders 20 gauge slugs, they look just like above. I switched to them this year. Shoot great!
