Rebuild motor cost ?

Had a guy offer me a four wheeler today.
I THINK he said it was a "blaster".
I do know it is a two stroke.
He said it needs to be re-built.
Said he would take $50 for it.
Motor is already off and torn apart.

If,,, IF all the parts are there, how much does it cost to get a two stroke motor re-built?
I am ASSUMING he just means a top end re-build.
Very reason I have never owned a two stroke.
Thinking about buying it, doing a re-vamp and re-sell.

i would say 300 max if you do it your self. I would say closer to 200 with the piston and jug but would figure on 300
