I have a pair that visit my pond a couple days every winter, then they leave. I'm ok as long as they don't stay longer , they are cool to watch.

We had a group of otters take up residence in our catfish pond. They absolutely pounded the fish. I finally was able to kill them but it took some stealth and luck.

I shoot them on site anytime I can.

The way I figure it If ya kill everything wild it will all be gone one day as has been proven in past. I'll give them some of my fish( most likely there's to many in most ponds anyways). But if they stay and don't leave then I'll have no choice. I like sitting on the porch watching them a bit.

They are around here, I have caught a few in beaver sets and occasionally see them in the channel when the water is up.

I got video of a pair loping through one of my food plots in ridge and hollow hardwoods! The must have come from one of the duck clubs nearby. However, in the same video is a bobcat stalking them, so maybe it took care of the problem!

Dang plague. They are everywhere now. They will wipe out any fish from any small body of water in a 2 mile radius in less than a month, then move on and repeat.

Ain't that the truth! They have found my pond…twice Fortunately, I was able to eliminate the problem before they caused too much damage each time. I have a creek on my other property and I kill every single one I possibly can but they are like beavers, killem all but it's a temporary fix. More will eventually take their place.
