Been wet and dreary all day. Did some gumbo to raise the spirits. This year's duck , zatarains anduille ,and Cajun steamed shrimp. Some of my favorite foods

Nicely done! I need to make gumbo one more time before the weather warms up. It's definitely a cold weather food to me.
Spring time meal for us. Every opening weekend of turkey season we do a crawfish boil and make jumbalaya. 30-60 lbs of crawfish dependent on the crowd size and a big pot of jumbalaya. Can't wait!

🤣 we'll get a 30 lb bag if there are 5-7 of us. We'll do two 30 lb bags if we'll have 10-12 people. We also do shrimp, corn, potatoes, onion, etc in the big pot too. The last several years, we've just stuck with 30 lbs and made jumbalaya and it's all we can eat
