Food Plots Rain in Hickman County

Got food plot out just ahead of rain today. Fingers crossed

Timing could have not been better... soils should not dry out rapidly as daytime temps are much lower than late Aug... so even if we don't get another rain for 10-12 days, we should be good

We are getting another really good shower right now, which is the third one besides the heavy downpour when the front came through. Perfect for what I put out…wish I had gone ahead and bought more wheat from the coop today.

Woohoo! The app I use says we've gotten 1.4-1.6" this evening. Worst year ever for foodplots, but this was a saving grace

Mine has likely been saved too. Not to mention $3k worth of sod I had laid. Might have a stroke when I see my water bill from running sprinklers lol

Wow 2.35" at one of my places in Hickman. It's gotten 1.5" more than the other spots in Hickman in the last 2 events... May be too late? Fingers crossed. I probably wont even see it until MZ..
