80% chance of rain tomorrow for me, but only 1/4" forecasted. I leave very early in the morning for Nebraska - should I go ahead and spread the urea on my plots or wait for a more substantial rain after I return? These plots were planted right around 9/1, and are being hit pretty hard.

If you can split application, I'd do that. Put half down now (to prevent nitrogen burn) and as insurance it doesn't rain at all... then put the other half down when there is a more solid rain chance.

If you were certain you would get 1/4 in, that would be enough. In fact, I don't like more than a half inch, because so much will wash off and of no benefit
