quota hunt leftovers

Just picked up the tag for my son for Laurel Hill ML, but I want to get 3 more for a Catoosa ML hunt.

Is there a limit on tags? It will not let me select another tag for him.

I keep getting "there are no leftovers available at this time". I started trying at 8:00. Are they all gone already?

same here...they were either sold out within 3 minutes or there system is messed up or overwhelmed.

Or, they will not allow anyone with two permits to purchase another, but I have not seen that published anywhere.

Tried getting the muzzy tag as well. I keep getting nothing is available. Logged into my sons account and it pops up

I just logged in and got a cheatham gun tag. I figured they would already be gone by now.

Thanks for sharing that. I already have 2, so that's why I'm not having any luck. They should include that info on the page with the leftover list.

That would be a simple thing to add to their posting.

However, who is making that decision? Was it made by the commission?

Leftover tags should be just that....the people that missed the deadlines or chose not to do the lottery for a 2nd tag should not take away my planning and initiative.

it added a hunt for over a month not sure where that came from delete it and my choice deletes also, finally went with it but system is messed up and i probably will end up with nothing

Never drew a 3 month tag before but Im going to enjoy it, the email said I was awarded these hunts had to remove picture as it has specific info

I got one for Cheatham right at 8 and then tried to click on the WMA big game leftover/FCFS link again see what else there was it said "The maximum number of applications able to be submitted for the selected hunt has been reached."

Although I would have liked to have snagged one of those LH tags, I'm fine with them giving those who don't already have 2 hunts first chance at them. It would be nice if they gave them the first couple hours and then opened them up to anyone. There will probably still be Catoosa hunts available for a long time. For as much time as I spend down in LH, you'd think I would deer hunt it on occasion.

We get the same crap here in Colorado with left over tags. There system usually is so overloaded, you can't get on their site. They suck.

I doubt it, but you might call and check. I would hate for a person with a lot of preference points to lose them.
