Here are the important parts.
-stayed up till 1:30 am visiting with buddies at camp.
-I was using a climber for the first time so I got up at 4am.
-finally got in the tree about 15 minutes before light...still wearing jeans and a flannel cause I was hot.
-Sat down to cool off and accidentally nodded off.
-Woke up a little after first light when this guy came running in with his nose on the ground.
- didn't have time to think so I raised my rifle and shot as soon as he stopped.
- knew he was a buck buy didn't know how big because he went down behind a tree.
-waited for about an hour hoping a doe would come in but curiosity got the best of me.
-drug this guy out and headed back to camp for a nap around 9:30.
