I finally gave in and bought a precision cooker. However, I refused to buy a special cooking container for it. A beer cooler and a hole saw took care of that part. Now I have to see what all the fuss is about.

Very nice....I got a $15 stock pot from Kroger. It's about 16" tall. I also have an Anova
