This is our first year growing any in the garden, I was wondering whats the secret to success with peppers? ( bell, Jalapeno, and a couple cowhorn plants) They are in the ground and about 10" tall and looking healthy but what kind of attention do they need now?

I have been growing them the last few years. 2 years ago I got lots of big peppers from my plants and last year I planted them in the same spot and thought I did all the same things and got no where near the amount of crop as I did the year before. I don't know what if anything was done different but it sure was not a good year for peppers for me last year.

They sound healthy to me, just don't over water. They like it hot and kind of dry anyway. Very easy to grow from my experience.
