I have a Remington Mohawk 48 that I like to shoot and shoot it well. The barrel is a fixed full choke. If I stick with #4 shot would it be okay to use sheel shot?

I've always read that shooting steel in any fixed choke past improved cylinder was a bad idea. At the very least, I think you will be risking bulging the barrel at the choke point.
