I finally got my Talley Lightweight Extra Low mounts in and Stainless Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40. I took the camo Ultimate Shadow stock off and placed it in the Supergrade stock then put the mounts and scope on just to see what it would look like. I still haven't had time to take my stock to get it checkered. Coming together nicely though.

looking good rick. who does the checkering?

A guy in Halls will do the checkering if I can get it out there to him.

beautiful gun. plastic is for mountain dew bottles, how many lpi are you doing on it

22 or 24 lines per inch. I can't remember what he did for my other stock he checkered for me.

If it would work, the front ring/base needs turned opposite. Max ring spacing is your friend...

Depending on the pattern checkering is not all that hard. Some videos are available online and tools are not terribly expensive. Then you can really call it custom!

I'll leave the checkering to the pro. This guy I'm taking my stock to does work on $10K+ firearms on a regular basis. I would hate to screw up this stock trying to checker it myself.
