I'm looking for a processor in Wilson county. Don't want to go to Lebanon Locker. Is there another one in the area?

There used to be a guy in Mt Juliet off Nonaville Road that had a big cooler at his house and did them and also another guy in Watertown. Unfortunately I don't recall either names. If you don't mind the drive go to Potts in Bell Buckle. I live off Couchville Pike near the racetrack and it takes me about 45 minutes but we'll worth it.

The closest that I'm aware of is Flowers. Lebanon Locker is directly responsible for me doing my own--a good grinder will typically pay for itself in 4 deer or so and there is nothing to it.

I took mine to C&F right off the Triune exit off 840 yesterday. I'm in the Glade and it took me about 25 minutes. Refuse to take it to Lebanon Locker anymore.

I used to take mine to the guy on nonaville. Joel was his name. Don't have his number anymore. He did really good work.

I'll look into the others...if I find my deer this afternoon.

Donnie Steed at Circle S Farms used to do a few of mine. He's not far off 109 and close to Double Log Cabin road. He's a little higher than avg and I believe he uses hog fat for the burger if you want fat.

The guy off Nonaville road in Mt. Juliet was named Joel H. and he was very good. No hair, neat packaging and cut anyway you wanted. Long time butcher but I don't believe he still does it. He's like all of us as we get older an slow down. Since then I started doing it myself. I bought an old fridge for $30. off a member on this sight and that was a great investment to chill the meat till I have time to mess with it. As a note I have a friend that uses Sue's Processing in Liberty TN. about 30 minutes from Watertown TN. 615-337-9730

Sue's. Liberty, Tn. Clean and lots of specialty options like Salisbury steak etc.

C&F does the same. You have the option of beef or pork fat when they grind your burger.

Well I never found the doe I shot yesterday after a few hours of tracking. She bled good at first with frothy bubbles in piles of blood to drops, then nice steady blood again for a couple hundred yards then it just stopped. Probably tracked for a good 500+ yards.

Thanks for the processing options fellas. I will check some of these places out next time I shoot and recover one.

I'm right on the edge of gladeville over here by Griffins market. Looks like C and F is going to be the closest. Thanks Bulldog

No problem. I just went to them for the first time this weekend so I will give feedback once I pick up my meat.
