We went out yesterday. Juggled the cove next to elm hill and circled an island with about 30 jugs! Nothing!

We caught a bunch of bream and chopped em up!

Nothing! I mean not one fish!

8 to 4 foot of water. Going to Cheatam lake next time! Gotta do better up there!

Was thinking of going up top and fishing some of those creeks coming in after passing the camp ground.
 
17 blues, nice ! I had a little luck saturday morning on the cumberland at this new spot I found, but man if i would of been in a boat it would of been on for the stripers, early morning they were poppin the top hard! It sucked seeing them there and not being able to do anything about it. I got to get to cheatham dam though
 
I was out there last weekend in my ski boat just swimming and cliff jumping. We stopped at Luau island, which is the all sand island right outside of elm hill marina and there were some guys out there that had stayed the night on the island and they showed me a few good catfish they had caught. The biggest they said was 16 lbs, and if I remember right they caught 12 fish overnight.

You know how to get to johnson creek. Friend of mine has been catching some good ones over there.
