Price of Remington copper solid slugs....WOW!!!!

I have changed scopes on my slug barrel and it is time to sight it in. I have 1-box (5-Shells) left. They are 3" Remington Copper Solids.
The last time I bought these things I paid about $10.00 per box. I checked on-line at Bass Pro & Cabelas and they are now running about $16.00 per box.

I know there are alot of saboted slugs out there. Is there another brand that you prefer that wont empty my wallet while sighting in my scope?

What about the Hornady brand?

What is the advantage of copper? I am sure the same slug in solid lead would be cheaper. I just dont know the advantage...

It's really hard to beat the Brenneke heavy field magnums, Richard's has them for around 6 something a box. They are accurate as all get out & the knock down power they have............geeesh, it's like a sledgehammer.

Huge holes, in & out.
