Well I hired @cbhunter to guide me bass fishing and he ended up whooping me like a rented mule.
Rain on and off very little wind very enjoyable!!
Blessed to be out there.
We ended up with 17 (10-7) with 16 of them coming home for supper.
I managed to luck up on a nice shellcracker during a break so that was good.
I managed one that went between 7-71/2#
We had no scale but that's what I decided to go with.
I refused to take any more pictures of Cbhunter because of the whooping he was handing out but I did take one.
Least we got supper.
Headed home and almost immediately my truck started acting funny. I thought the tires were spinning when I would take off and didn't think anything of it because I do need tires and it was wet.
Farther I went the more it acted up.
It was like the transmission wasn't working or something. Give it gas and it would rev up but wouldn't go.
Made it to 22 headed towards McKenzie and it just kept getting worse.
My top speed went from normal to 45 then 35 then 25.
About the time I got to Carroll lake I noticed a warning message that said low oil pressure.
Looked at my gauge and it was on zero.
Immediately started to pull over and then it died.
Coasted to a stop turned it off then tried to crank it. Nadda.
Not good.
Text our group text and @rem270 said I'm on my way.
He came to get me and pull my truck home and was going to make another trip with his trailer to bring my truck home.
I decided to just call a tow truck and be done with it.
Side note I need to buy a couple tow trucks!!!
Anyway it is what it is.
Still blessed to have time on the water and absolutely awesome friends!!!!
It's a good day.
