The crappie were hungry this morning! Not a big fish day but got a nice mess of eaters.

The future looks bright for Old Hickory, lots and lots of short fish out there.

I never thought about looking at the water temp until I was in the truck heading home lol. Caught them in 18-28 ft of water

thats deep. i would figured them to be shallow with the warm up

I love river fishing for smallies, but big crappie on ultra light tackle is my favorite.

Not sure what it is about Old Hickory but I catch them deep nearly yr round. Hardly ever fish anything less than 15ft.
