Yes, the RCBS is kind of the standard setter. And if minds change you can re-sell the RCBS for practically what you paid for it.

I have loaded lots of good ammo on my RCBS but looking hard at a Forester co-ax and would like one of the Harrells portable turret presses

I started reloading when I was 12, that was 50 years ago. Used RCBS presses for many decades then on a whim bought a Forster Co Ax. Within a week after buying the Forster I sold the Rock Chucker.
There is nothing wrong with the RC, but the Co Ax is simply much better and easier to use as the dies just pop in and out and you don't need any shell holders. If you tried one you most likely would buy one.

My BIl uses a Forster Co-Ax and has been using it for a long long time.

He claims the high cost is offset by much higher quality of the finished product.

I have my dads Rock Chucker he purchased in 1969 and a Reloader Special purchased in 1978, NEVER EVER had any problems with either press and will hand them down to my grandson.

I bought a Rockchuker as my 1st press back in 1979 and have had zero regrets. When I decided to get another full set of loading tools in the mid 1990's, just for the heck of it, I got another Rockchucker.

One note I might make here is that RCBS changed the dimensions of the Rockchuker somewhere along the way so that the dimension from the shell holder to the die bottom is different. I don't recall the exact difference, but it was something like .100 inches. I fixed that by making a washer on the lathe to offset the difference. Another better way would be to turn the top off the large nut in the taller press so they match. If you aren't swapping does between the two presses, it wouldn't matter.

I reloaded with a RockChucker for 30 yrs. Got a Forster Co-Ax about five yrs. ago. The RCBS was sold shortly thereafter. Spend the extra for a Forster and you wont never need to upgrade.
