Anybody ever use this product or see it used? How well does it work? I wAnt to put in 2 acres of beans in a certain spot but the deer will never let them get above 6 -10 inches even though there's 4 acres of clover a couple steps away... I just find it hard to believe a single ribbon with some kinda spray on it will keep them out.

From what ive heard and studied, the plot saver is
a fair to average deterant. You must apply the scent quite often. .

If its a location you cant visit often, the electric fence option is a much.more effective measure, although more costly.

I got to see the Gallher (spelling?) type at the twra food plots at the wildlife expo at opryland a couple of years ago and it was very nice system. Once its up, its pretty sturdy and effective

I have used this product three years to protect Eagle Soybeans. My experience is that if the product is reapllied every 7-10 days it is effective.

The first two years gave me almost complete protection. It seemed like the third year the deer were more acclimated to it and I had more crop injury.

I took last year off from the beans and plotsaver and it will be interesting to see how it works this year.

Thanks for the info and good looking field... I planted the spot i was wanting beans at in corn last week to ensure a crop. I planted beans there last year and they got mowed before they could grow. Next year I'm going to try the plot saver.
