I shot this buck on the last afternoon of bow season thinking he was 3.5 but I just pulled his jawbone and it looks like a 2.5 year old.I will post some pics of it later.

He sure looked to be at least a 2.5 y.o. last year from the pics. So I would say he was at least 3.5 when you killed him.

Although the pics from last year could be a top end yearling, the ones from this year look at least 3.5

Agreed with above. Body conformation looks 2 1/2 last year and 3 1/2 this year.

Looks 3 1/2 to me.

Bucks killed earlier in the season should show a little less tooth wear than bucks killed later in the season.
