Plastic Welding

Bought a plastic welder yesterday. Laramy plastic welder stick welding unit self contained. This is a stand alone, hot air, plastic stick welder, the system has torch heater control, air compressor, pressure gauge, and all intra system connections in a single box.

Going to use it to repair cracked ATV fenders. Anyone ever use one of these unit? Pointers please.

Very anxious to give it a go. I will post up some pics of my project.

never seen one or honestly ever heard of one. sounds interesting I stick with jb weld. lol but ive never had a fender tare up on me.

Thanks for the feed back. Like the idea of cutting up strips of scrap fenders. Here is a pic of the unit. Haven't had the chance to operate it yet but, will post pics when I do. It came with 3 tips a new heating element and around 15lbs of various plastic welding rods.
