I have a 10ft pelican boat rated for 7hp motor it is stable and great to fish out off. Problem it is not quite big enough to take on Cherokee or Douglas. Any suggestions as to where would be some good spots to take it to fish? Locally we have Kinser Park...fishing has not been very good at the Park lately.

somebody on here fishes the caney fork with one..bowriter maybe...or did. I had one it was a pond hopper brand and i would fish coves of percy priest or as radar said family lakes.

some idiots don't pay attention to the no wake signs. I saw a guy in a canoe get swamped by a guy in a big bass boat. we were fishing in the cove around from four corners I think. But anyhow it should be places like that anywhere. that is the only guy I ever saw come full bore through.

I wont take my little bass tracker out in the main lake of JPP on the weekends..However, I see a guy and girl in a small boat fishing the wall around from elm hill marina sometimes and they do OK I guess since I have seen them more then once.

Yes...it is my ideal Caney Boat. But I have used in in many locations. It is not a big water boat but it is the ideal pond or small water boat as long as wind and waves are not a problem.

On a relatively calm day, using common sense, I would not hesitate to use it on Old Hickory and Priest. Note-calm day and I should include weekends when the water skaters are out.

It is my number choice for dynomiting big trout and poaching turkeys.
