Anyone got any recipes for pickle eggs
I got a bunch of laying hens and they are laying good
I have made some warm but would like to try other ways .
Thanks and good hunting

Here you go. You can use any type of fresh peppers or even add sliced carrots (or not). The key things are just the vinegar w/ a little bit of salt. You'll likely have enough pickling solution for more than the 2 dozen eggs.

2 dozen hard boiled eggs (peeled)
4 cups vinegar
1 jar or can jalapenos
1 onion
1 cup water
1 tablespoon tabasco
1 tablespoon salt

I am a pickled beet/egg fan

1 (15 ounce) can beets
12 shelled hard cooked eggs
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vinegar

Drain liquid from the beets into saucepan.

Pour sugar and vinegar into the saucepan with the beet liquid and bring the mixture to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, and let the mixture simmer 15 minutes.

Pour the beet juice mixture over the beets and eggs

Seal the bowl or pitcher and refrigerate for at least 3 days the longer they sit the better they taste.

My aunt just put the eggs in and socked the vinegar to em. You can add anything and everything you like to them. She made them in a gallon jar.

I made some just plain and couldn't eat them. May try again with the jalapenos or maybe some garlic. I wonder if some dill would be good to add?
