My dad has asked me to locate him about 10 persimmon seeds so he can plant them at his house. I haven't seen one around my area in years and don't know where to turn. Anybody able to help on this? I will pay shipping.

Make sure and research sprouting persimmons. I sprouted only 7 of 20 and that was after following the directions to the tee.

I harvested 2 dozen last year. Wrapped them up and throught them in the freezer for 4 months.. took them out and planted in planters... not a single one sprouted for me.

Dont know.. I will try it again I guess. Or just buy some of those ones from the state.

Put them in the fridge not a freezer. Keep them in the fridge in a damp paper towel inside a ziplock bag. Check them every now and then to make sure the paper towel stays moist.

It should. They are made to go through the digestive tract of an animal. If they have not, it is a good id to take some sandpaper and and get the outside coating off before putting in a wet paper towel in the fridge.
