Perry County Road Kill (?)

A friend of mine sent me this pic and said that his brother in law is working to fix the car that hit this buck in Perry county over the weekend. Has anyone heard of a buck of this caliber being hit by a car, or is this another internet hoax?

We see this buck along with others every year with the same old stories. My brother's, sister's, husband's, mother-in-law hit this buck going to work last night in ___________ county.

But now this image is for real. It was taken just outside of Nashville in a sub division full of kids. Scares me to think of what may happen if he drags a kid off like he did this deer. Sad part is the TWRA has a release program here in Tennessee but refuse to tell the public what their doing. They don't even claim they live here and their the one's releasing them into the wild. My brother-in-law's best friend use to work there. He was sworn to secrecy, we haven't seen him in 3-months. He also helped with the unicorn's and werewolf's, something seems real fishy and we can't get any answers from the TWRA.
