Need to know where to get some padded leg hold traps for coyote trapping. They are really becoming a problem in the Corryton area. Tn Song dog shared with me were to place some snares. I just worry about neighbors dogs getting hurt. Seems the leg holds would be safer

Your local TN Farmers's Co-Op should have them. You want the #3 traps. The 1.5 is a very good coon, mink, and fox trap, but a big dog coyote can sometimes escape them.

If you don't want to do all the work yourself then contact a trapper in the area.

Not many places sell legal traps. I called several places with no luck. I ended up having to order mine.

Hey Mitch, order from MN Trapline or F&T. Both are online. Spend money the right way, once. I recommend MB550 RJ 2 coil or Bridger #3 RJ 4 coil. MB550 are easiest to set and need zero adjustment. You will need to get some other stuff too. I'll see if Ruger can find an older topic about trap supplies and move over to this subforum.
