still finding fresh rubs and couple scrapes but havnt seen a buck in weeks,prob overhunting my spots but dont know what else 2 do?

I've seen bucks hunting a rub line once but not on scrape lines yet. I haven't seen hardly any bucks except for during the rut when they were roaming or dogging does. The ones I saw were all in the woods especially where thick undergrowth is nearby and lots of does too. But going back into post rut feeding patterns round here I'm not sure where to hunt for bucks but ill just poke around and sit down and see if I find any. I'm gonna either hunt the woods or near the clearcut type thickets and see if I catch a good buck going to or from his hiding hole.

Right now most likely the scrapes and rubs are getting hit at night. I would guess idk if you are over hunting it but i have found that just backing off 10 or 20 yards further back or moving your tree stand or ground blind what ever you use to another spot in the same area has helped me see and kill more deer. It is like they have patterned you may just be me but it seems to work more times then not.

Back out for a few days and wait for some rain to wash your scent out when you go back in put some regular doe pee on the bottom of your boots but do not put estrus on may not turn out to good if he comes from behind ya. I screwed up during archery season one year and put doe estrus on my boot and walked through the field and sat down in a ground blind had a 4 point come from no where and was within a few feet scared the crap out of me I shot every arrow i had at him and he still came back for more finally I got out of there needles to say I will never make that mistake again
