I just wanted to give a little info on the outdoor edge knife set. I have the Cody pack and the outdoor processing kit.

I will say this. These are the sharpest blades I have ever owned and I can resharpen them with very little effort. Every one of them will shave hair and they are a heck of a value.

Best knives I have ever owned.

Scary sharp and I really feel I got what I paid for I'n these dudes.

I agree that Outdoor Edge makes quality knives for a reasonable price. Their SwingBlade knife is excellent and is now my go-to knife for field dressing and skinning deer. I have the one with the orange handle so that it's easy to find when I lay it down. I highly recommend it.

I've always questioned the quality of the steel, design looks excellent. Just how long will it hold a edge and how easy is it to sharpen the gut blade?
I have a Buck 110 and am very satisfied. How do these knives compare to it? I use my buck to not only gut a deer but to also rip up the side of the ribs where they join the sternum.
I also love the weight of a Buck and the size of the handle, makes it easier to handle.
Just trying to make a comparison.
