Im have been hunting since I was 14 and loved every minute of it. Some years I didn't go much especially after getting driver license. I have killed 2 deer since and am looking to have a breakout year. I was wondering what one piece of advise would everyone give? Would it be hang in there or what? I really enjoy the experience and I believe it really is the best part but sometimes killing deer is good also.

just exactly what kind of advice are you looking for?preperation? actual hunting? where to hunt? do's and don't?

A lot of different things to like about hunting, killing mature deer, managing a piece of land, big racks, trailcams heck just shooting a deer period or being in the outdoors. I think we even have a few tree hugging wannabe bird watchers on the site :D (not mentioning any names)

Figure out what it is about hunting that you enjoy the most and commit to being successful at that part. Dont know if you hunt by yourself but if you do, find a partner.

Good luck this season.

I guess do's and dont's. I really work on sent control and have had deer walk in on my trail and not blow. With that said I'm going to step up and buy scent- lok yugo this year. I just want to see more deer. Last year I keep seeing the same Doe with twins then rut come around and didn't see anything on that farm.

You can buy whatever you want, but I would not waste my money on scent lok clothes. I would put it towards something else like stands, scopes, binoculars, guns, range time, archery equipment, regular unscented soap, give to your church, give to charity, prostitutes, drugs, rehab, throw it out the window, or burn it. If you have money left over after that, then you should invest in scent lok clothes.
