Opening day of ml, and like clock work stomach bug tries to kill Me all night. No way I was gonna miss it, I was running a little late, luckily. My stand is 1 mile from my truck, I made it to within 100 yards of my stand and on the other side of a ridge I see a doe running straight towards me. I sat down got my gun ready and watched behind he, sure enough here he comes running. The doe runs right to me at about 30 yards and stops, I knew he was mine. I can't post a pic so if someone could help me I would appreciate it. 8 pt. 18 in inside, 3.5 yo. field dresses at 161 lbs. Great first day with a new ml.
