I saw this critter 3 times today, 3 rd time was charm as they say..

Shot it with my Dads old single shot .22.

115 steps from a leaning rest on my front porch post..Shooting a CCI Stinger .

Lucky shot …. Maybe but I did hit within inches of my aim point..
Oh!, did I mention it was almost dark too…..🤣🤣🤣

Hit it high in the front shoulder a 3" or so right of where I was holding..He was standing quartering me, right front shoulder facing me, I aimed just below the spine..👍

Kinda hard too see the .22 cal entry wound , but it's point of the shoulder angling thru the lungs..
Paralyzed in its tracks…
I applied the coup de grace' up close & personal…😎

Nice shooting I like the circler blood trail looks like it's pointing right to the yote.
