So I picked up an old set of RCBS 45 acp dies today. I have a couple of questions. I've been reloading rifle cartridges for about 10 years, this will be my first attempt at pistol reloading, I hope these questions aren't too silly. All my rifle dies are Lee. I'm pretty sure these are old, but I don't care. I think they are steel, so I'll have to lube the cases. The question I have is this set complete? It appears the decap die is also the expander die, not the resize die like I'm used to. Is the die that is labeled "size #1" missing a piece, it is threaded at the top. I will not be using a progressive press. Another question is does the bullet seat die also crimp?

Thanks!

I came across an old set of 38 special dies just like yours. The only thing I could figure out was to size the cases first then decap and neck expand in one step next.

Just loaded up a 100 rounds that way and it seemed to work out fine.
