I shot this buck around 8 this morning. He was walking down a scrape line, and I heard him scraping before I saw him. I only had about a 5 foot window to shoot him in the cedar thicket shown in the picture. I made a bleat noise when he stepped into the opening and he stopped perfectly broadside. He dropped about 40 yards away. I'm pretty sure this deer is old and may have been on the decline. Very happy to have taken this buck!
