Doesn't this make you love coyotes even more. I got this on my trail camera the night before last. Pretty cool picture I guess but sure wont change my feelings of shooting every one i see!

Have you ever saw this happen? Reason I ask is most any time I ever see Coyotes and deer in close proximity the adult deer unless with young fawns in tow, pay very little attn to the Coyotes. I have watched them both in the same field for over an hour. While the deer will keep tabs on them, they normally dont even get nervous around them!
Fawns are a different story and I have even saw a Coyote try to catch one once.

I have never seen it personally, but if you go to you tube and type in grown and healthy deer killed by coyotes, ther are numerous videos and pics. There are so many of them that I have not looked at them all.

Also, I have talked to two different hunters who have witnessed it. I guess there could be many factors involved, but I don't think it is as rare as you might think....just because YOU have not witnessed coyote killings of grown and healty deer.
