Ok fishing experts got a question

Full moon and the cold front are both gonna hit about the same time this week.

I believe both will be here Wed.

Highs in the low 60s and lows in the mid 40s for the rest of the week, through Sunday.

Starting on Monday of next week things go back to the good weather, highs in the 80s and lows in the high 60s.

What effect will this crap have on the bream and shellcracker bedding????

Seems just when it is getting right this happens.
Bought like them dropping the bottom out of KY when the crappie are ready to spawn.

It may set them back a little. The thing is you will have to go check and see if it did. How cool is it supposed to get?

The same thing happened a couple of years ago. Nothing changed as far as the fishing went. Business as usual. Just dress a little warmer.

1- the cold front. The important thing is the water temp, not the air temp. If water temps drop much, fishing will be better as the sun warms the water.

2- Moon- Only difference I have been able to see is the bite might be a little better early and late. But if you can see the childrens moon, should be good.

Water temp was give or take 70 this past weekend on Ky Lake.I caught the CrackHeads in their spawning spots on Thursday and had to move to Staging Flats on Sat in deeper water.I dont think they know what to do yet.

I've never seen cold fronts affect bream much. Especially once they are on the bed. That's always been my favorite thing about them: Cold fronts, boat noise, catching one after another off one spot, etc. doesn't bother them. If they see a cricket, nothing else matters!

The fishing is going to be bad with the cold front coming it...probably won't be worth going. You'd be better off taking your wife shopping in town or doing the honey-do list at home.



Honestly, I don't know. My guess is the bite would be better when it's warmer.
