Nice fish!

Waded the creek yesterday hoping for one of those... came up with a couple largemouth and a couple drum though.
 
Nice fish man!! Been really strugglin over here on Chickamauga. Fished a 8 hr tx from 7pm-3am & never got a bite, I did manage to empty a few cans though.

Dont know what your doing,but dont be afraid to get aggresive,they were hitting swim baits,and caught one on a spook

I think the fish colored that way are pretty. As you said with the markings becoming more apparent after awhile, my experience with Tennessee fish is that they are usually pretty vividly marked, whereas, the fish that I've caught in the Ark/Mo ozarks usually look like the fish in your picture. They are naturally a different strain, although there has been a lot of mixing going on with stocking, etc. At any rate, brown bass are a neat fish.
