NWTF.....soybean and other seed ?

I read on their site that some chapters can get access thru them to old expired seed from Monsanto etc. Wondering if anyone has experience with this and if anyone knows of a Nashville area chapter that participates. Tried soybeans last year that I bought at the CO OP and they were eaten to the ground in a week! Too expensive to try again, though now I have cleared a larger area to plant them.

Dont know about the seeds through NWTF,but many people have tried soybeans on too small an acreage,and been disapointed,me included.I think 5 acres is sort of a good number to try,depending on your deer population.

I had very good success with corn I got from NWTF last year. They are not offering it in TN this year but the regional director of NWTF told me it would be back next year. We were able to purchase the corn for $5/bag. It normally runs $160/bag from what I hear. Roundup ready, I believe it was Pioneer brand.
