I have a good stand of brassica and another of oats, clover, etc. mix neither of which has been touched. It is my first season hunting this spot and from my understanding(talking with neighbors + game cams) the deer have moved off the property in search of does.

I am not sure if I should let the plots stand the rest of the season or mow them down in hopes of putting scent in the air and making them easier to eat.

Thoughts?

No matter where the does are the deer need to eat. Now that acorns and are gone I wouldn't cut it. The colder and worse the weather gets the more likely they are to use it.
