Put 40x LCS on my heavy 6.5x47L and went to zero it this morning..it was shooting better than usual and I thought it was just the change from the 32x Sightron to the 40x leupold...when I came back in I realized I had grabbed the ammo for my Tac 30 rifle..its loaded the same except it's short enough to fit the magazine and that rifle is throated shorter...the way I figured this ammo in this rifle has the 130 vldh jumping about .095..

Looks like I may get by loading the exact ammo for both rifles..

Stiller PredatorV. RBLPLE action with Jewell 2 ounce trigger
Krieger 1.250 full bull 8 twist 6.5x47l
Shehane Tracker stock
Leupold 40x LCS

2 100 yard groups and 300 yard group

Yeppers, not too shabby. I can do the same......just at 25 yards....sometimes.

Seriously good shooting Mr. B.

Looks like that set up likes the jump.
I think so..that high shot was the last one and I think it may have been from mirage...I'm gonna try that load some more and see how it averages over a few groups.....

Yep, I thought the high one was maybe the sighter. It's definitely a flier and hard to blame the wind. Still it's all pretty tight even for a bench gun. You just need more shots to see if you get any repeat fliers. Good shooting!

Sighter was about 6 inches high..first time I shot that load at 600 and just made a rough guess on how much to come up...

Shot 5 more at 600 this morning and mirage was so bad I almost didn't even try it...no sighters no foulers..

Over the labrador they are avg 2960 single digit es.

1.85 group

Gonna tweak a little and shoot again later

Good shooting Big! I hate those fliers because it's so hard to figure what's going on. Keep at it, your real close to perfection. I can only suggest shooting a big group like 20 shots that might tell you a little more. Good luck and keep us posted.

That brass been loaded 7 or 8 times...I'm gonna try same load as that last target again with fresh brass and see how it goes...
